Computer maker Dell has been testing new smartphones that appearing on the web through leaked and information. Engadget revealed leaked literature that shows a line-up of super smartphones coming from Dell. They have the flashy names of Lightning, Thunder, Flash and Smoke. The most noticeable features of the phones is that two models run "Flash" and two will feature the next version of Android (Froyo.) AT&T recently began promoting the Dell Aero, a new Android smartphone.
Dell is plannig a Windows Phone code-named "Ligthning," Dell Lightning is a 1 GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor portrait slider for AT&T's or T-Mobile' s 3G network with a 4.1-inch OLED touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera, 8 GB of storage on a MicroSD card, GPS, accelerometer, compass and FM radio. It has full Flash support including video playback. It is supposed to be upgradeable to LTE 4G data. Expected Q4.

The Dell Thunder smartphone runs Android 2.1 on a 4.1-inch
WVGA OLED display. The 8megapixel camera has on-device image editing
software. It comes loaded with a new Dell UI "Stage," and is said to
have support for AT&T's 3G network. The video-centric Thunder
will have a Hulu app. Like the Lightning, it is expected to begin
shipping in the fourth quarter with an upgrade to LTE scheduled for the
end of 2011.
The Dell Flash, is an Android smartphone that wil run the next
version of Android (Froyo) on a 800 MHz Qualcomm processor. Flash
features a 3.5-inch WVGA TFT touch screen display, a 5-megapixel camera,
and Flash 10. The Dell Flash is expected to be launched next year.
The Dell Smoke is candybar smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard
with the next version of Android. It will also have 800 MHz Qualcomm
processor a 5-megapixel camera and a microSD card that supports up to 32
GB of storage. Due out next year.
