Think Pink Pinky Pink Phone Announcement Due from Microsoft and Verizon 4/12

The social-networking, new more-like Windows Phone 7 "Pink" feature phones are reportedly to be announced in a press event from Microsoft on April 12.

The Pink phones will be made by Sidekick manufacturer Sharp Corp,
sources told AP.

Previously, the "Pink" series of "Zune-Like" phones were reported to be designed  for teens and twenty-somethings with
a text messaging social-networking focus, the Turtle and Pure.

Marketing
material shows the phones as "Making your network more social." Gizomodo called one phone the Turtle, a vertical slider, " a
messaging phone, basically--one part Pre, and two parts Sidekick."

The second phone called the Pure is a slider phone.  The models are the Sharp PB10ZU and the PB20ZU.
