U.S. Demand Delays International Release of iPad

international launch by one month until the end of May.

Although Apple delivered more than 500,000 iPads during its first
week, demand is far higher than predicted and will likely continue to
exceed our supply over the next weeks. Apple has also taken a large number of
pre-orders for iPad 3G models for delivery by the end of April.

Apple will announce international pricing and
begin taking online pre-orders on Monday, May 10.

The news release states, "We know that many
international customers waiting to buy an iPad will be disappointed by
this news, but we hope they will be pleased to learn the reason-the iPad
is a runaway success in the US thus far."

Apple iPad 3G data plans will be completely
unlimited
.  There were many great
iPad apps
from the start, with some memorable music
apps.
  The cost of billable goods to make an
iPad is $260.
More iPads are sold in California than any other
state. Distimo reports show the largest category is games followed by
entertainment, and
education on the iPad
. The iPad uses a lot of Wi-Fi power reported Boingo
Wireless.
