When you first get the Droid Incredible by HTC, Aria or EVO we suggest you sync it with your Google account to get your contacts loaded if they are stored in Google. You can also setup Verizon Backup Assistant.
If you don't have Google account, you'll want to get one, you can't access Android Market without. Some features such as Weather and Footprints require Google's location service to automatically get your current location to use those services you'll want to have Google location enabled.
Use HTC Sync for Syncing Outlook:
If you are are Outlook user, download HTC Sync. HTC Sync lets you synchronize Outlook and Windows Address Book (Outlook Express), contacts and calendar events between your computer and your phone.
Leave Footprints
Use HTC Footprints to give more to your photos. A footprint consists of a photo you take of a location such as a
restaurant, a sightseeing destination, etc., stored together with a
precise GPS position and other information about that location, such as
the street address and phone number. After launching Footprints, point
the camera at the scene you want to save. Press the Trackball
to capture the photo.
Share Contacts with Other People
If you want to make friend and let them have your friend's contacts it's nice to share. To send contact information via email,
Bluetooth, or MMS as a vCard, on the All tab of the People
application, press and hold the contact you want to send, and then tap Send
contact as vCard. Choose the Send type, and then tap Send.
LEAP to See it All:
You can view all Home screens at the same
time by making a pinching motion on any Home screen; or you can tap the
Home button twice. Simply tap the desired Home screen
to view it.
Don't Get Lost
Google Maps lets you track your current location, view real-time traffic situations, and receive
detailed directions to your destination. It lets you search forplaces of interest or an address on a vector or aerial map, or view locations in street level.
