T-Mobile
is changing the way you see BlackBerry smartphones with a white BlackBerry Bold 9700 and a fuchsia BlackBerry Curve 8520.
The BlackBerry Bold 9700 is a high-end smartphone, with a 3.2 megapixel
camera with flash, HVGA display, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 256 MB
of memory. It sells for $129.99 after rebates with a two-year contract. It will include the latest update to the BlackBerry OS and be available for $129 after rebates with a contract after rebates and be available May 26.
The well-reviewed BlackBerry Bold 9700 received a rating of 4
out 5 by all the reviewers we surveyed. Reviewers thought that the
addition of the trackpad was a great improvement. They liked the
brilliant display, 3.5 mm headphone jack and fabulous messaging
capabilities.
The BlackBery Bold 8520 has a 2 megapixel camera without flash,
Wi-Fi, no-GPS, Bluetooth and lower-resolution display. The BlackBerry
Bold 8520 in fuchsia costs $49.99 with a contract after rebates
(data service required) and is available starting today.
The BlackBerry Curve 8520 is very similar to the BlackBerry
Curve 8530 that
doesn't out-feature the latest smartphones but it does a great job of
what BlackBerry does best, email, messaging and business docs, reviewers
reported. All reviews noted that the BlackBerry Cuve 8530
plays music and video well.
T-Mobile also recently launched a $50 prepaid plan with unlimited voice and texting.
