Yesterday, we reported that Verizon
Wireless will announced the next generation Motorola Droid on
June 23. Today via the Droid website we can see that yes, the name is Droid X. Verizon has not confirmed the release date of July 19, however Verizon stores will be open early that day.
Now we know that the next gen Droid will be Droid X with
a large 4.3-inch screen, 720p high
definition video capture and HDMI output.
Some contend that hat 720p 'splayed across 4.3? of screen real state works out to 341ppi --
more than the iPhone 4's retina display (326ppi).
Droid X is rumored to have 8
megapixel camera with flash, 1GHz ARMv7 (presumably an OMAP3630
