Google , released a mobile version of the Google Docs viewer
for Android, iPhone and iPad that allows you to you view PDFs, .ppt, .doc and .docx
files you've uploaded to your documents list in Google Docs without needing to
download the file.
With the Google mobile viewer you can switch quickly between pages and pan/zoom
within a page. On your iPhone and iPad, you can pinch to zoom in or
out.
Google Docs Mobile is at docs.google.com from Android-powered device, iPad or
iPhone and select any document in these formats that you've previously
uploaded.
Last week Google, announced that Google docs began supporting doc and .docx attachments.
Google is clearly invading into the business app space with this move.
Android, iPhone and iPad owners can upload important docs to Google docs
and then easily read them on their device.
Users already
have asked to be able to edit the documents too. For spreadsheets, the
spreadsheets are shown one column at at time.
