CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010 and The Enterprise Mobility
Foundation (EMF), today announced they are partnering this fall to host
the Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp, a two-day event for IT and telecom
professionals focused on building and managing an enterprise-wide
wireless strategy. The Enterprise Mobility Boot Camp will run October 5-6 during the CTIA Enterprise &
Applications trade show and conference in San
Francisco at Moscone Center West.
The Enterprise Mobility
Boot Camp kicks-off Tuesday, October 5
from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. with "Basic
Training," consisting of three sessions and a networking reception:
- Hot Issues of the Day for Enterprise
Mobility - examining the tactical considerations facing IT/telecom
professionals when it comes to devices, operating systems and more; - Hands-on
Mobile Strategy/Policy Workbook Session - addressing best practices for
procurement, provisioning, device management, application management,
service management, security, expense management, help desk, and mobile
device retirement and replacement; - Mobile Application
Strategies - exploring how mobile applications can radically improve
worker productivity, business processes and consumer-business relations
On Wednesday, October 6, the Boot Camp
will engage
recruits in these "Field Operations" from 1:00 -
5:00 p.m.:
- Pitch Fest - presenting top providers
pitching their solutions to the critical issues facing the mobile
enterprise today. At the conclusion, audience members will cast their
votes for the best pitch; - Speed Networking - connecting
IT/telecom professionals in a rapid-fire format. Wireless Rain Founder,
CEO and EMF advisory board member Steve Brumer
will facilitate this session where participants will move from table to
table sharing challenges and lessons learned and forming valuable new
relationships; - Ask the Experts - featuring an interactive panel
and break-out groups moderated by The EMF's PhilippeWinthrop
