Droid X Landing: Midnight MD TX - Early California Verizon Store Openings

Droid X is going to have major blast off tonight and early tomorrow from Verizon
Wireless  There will be midnight openings at special stores in Maryland and Texas. While other stores such as the Burbank Verizon store will be opening early, (7:00 am.)

Midnight Droid X  Openings with Pizza, Hot Dogs, and More

We called all of the following Verizon stores to confirm midnight openings:

  • The Verizon Columbia, Maryland (9021 Snowden Square Drive) store.
  • Midnight pizza party at the San Antonio, (Quarry) Texas Verizon store,.
  • Verizon Victoria (grilled hot dogs served 10:00 pm to 12:00 am) Texas.
  • Round Rock/Austin, (only a few Droid X left), the rep told us that Cedar Park, Great Hills, Pflugerville also were opening at midnight

We have not been able to check which stores will open at midnight in Dallas Texas. The New York Broadway Verizon Store is opening at 7:00 am. 

The Verizon PR rep in Los Angeles, gave us a list of all the stores that will be opening early in California, it is posted at the end of this article.

A Verizon rep worried about his customers because of a limited supply suggested that you order Droid X  online, instead of trying to find a midnight store opening.

Readers are welcome to comment if they find an early store opening. The
best bet right now  is to call your local store to find out if when they
open and how many units of Droid X they will have in stock.

Although we have been assured that Verizon has plenty of the Droid
X in stock, we suggest you read our suggestions for getting and finding
a Droid X , Verizon and other
online retailers are expected to start selling the Droid X
online in the early hours of the morning.
