Dell is offering an Android smartphone, available without a contract or with a contract from AT&T, the Dell Aero. The news release claims that the Dell Aero is one of the lightest multi-touch 3.5-inch Android smartphones. It has a 5 megapixel camera, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 624Mhz Marvell processor and a social-networking apps. The touchscreen has 360 x 640 (nHD) pixel resolution.
You won't get the latest version of Android on the Aero, their PR contact informed us that the Aero runs a superset of 1.5. Dell developed a tremendous amount of customization and features on top of Cupcake(1.5) that include n 8x zoom with on-device photo & video editing, asynchronous BT/Wi-Fi and multiple widget support. Dell also offers sync with Windows Media Player and a Desktop Suite Syncing tool - includes syncing with iTunes.

The Dell Aero has a removable 2GB MicroSD Card, with optional available memory up to 32GB2 MicroSD . The replaceable battery switches out in a click and use the adapter/wall charger to get powered up and ready to roll in no time. The Dell Aero comes with a wired stereo headset and a 3.5mm to mini USB adapter.
Dell Aero will ship with Quick Office, Facebook with integrated calendar and contacts, Twitter and additional applications by Google, including YouTube and Android Market.
