Droid 2 Gets Updated to Android 2.2.20 with Better MSG, VM, Exchange and Call Log

Droid2 Upate.JPGVerizon Wireless has released an minor update for the Motorola Droid 2 (Version.2.2.20.A955. Verizon.en.US/BP: BP_C_01.09.05P.) especially useful for those using Visual Voice Mail and Corporate Exchange services.

Verizon Wireless and Motorola encourages Droid 2 owners to  download the update with these
Improvements:

  • Enabled text and picture message scrolling.
  • Streamlined set up of Visual Voice Mail feature.
  • Improved contact sync with Corporate Exchange categories
  • and groups.
  • View accurate contact pictures when reviewing Recent Call Log.

Microsoft Exchange problems have also been reported in the Droid X which is due to get an update soon.

Droid 2 users can start the update themselves or wait for a OTA update notice, the follow prompts.
