The last software update to the original Droid by Motorola did not include support for Adobe Flash 10.1 or Wi-Fi hotspots. Today's update brings Flash in a flash. First you install the upgrade from Verizon then you download the Flash Player 10.1 from Android Market.
The Verizon Droid support page calls the new software update for Droid by Motorola FRG22D. Verizon Wireless and Motorola encourage you to download the update today. Improvements:
- Adobe Flash Player 10.1 now available via market.
- After installing the software update search for, download, and install "Flash Player 10.1" from Market.
- Updated software changes to the Droid provide improved security.
You will be notified that a system update is available on your device. Press "Install now" and your device will power off and back on and the installation process will begin.
Note: If you choose "Install later"
this will delay installation and you will be taken back to the home
screen. The system update message will appear every 30 minutes until you
install the update. You'll need to have at least he system update requires 40% or more power availability if not

automatically when events occur such as incoming phone calls or
