Radio Shack revealed that they will sell the T-Mobile G2 for $149.99 with a two-year contract. They announced the price through their Twitter feed - "The T-Mobile G2 with Google is coming to @RadioShack. Only $149.99 with 2-yr. agreement (instant rebate!). Stay tuned for info."
Best Buy, last week, started taking pre-orders for the T-Mobile G2 with a $199.99 price tag with a contract. T-Mobile has not announced their official price yet. We're wondering if T-Mobile will tempt buyers with another Buy One Get One Free deal like they are offering for the Samsung Vibrant.
The T-Mobile G2 has a 3.7-inch touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard, 800 MHz Snapdragon MSM7230 processor, 5 megapixel HD video camera, music player and 8GB microSD memory pre-installed (supporting up to 32 GB). Built on Android 2.2, the T-Mobile G2 has seven customizable home screen panels, which makes us suspect that it is made by HTC.
The T-Mobile G2 will have the new Voice Actions feature of Google Search, which allows you to control your phone with your voice for calling contacts and businesses, sending messages, browsing the Web, listening to music and completing common tasks. It is also offers integrated access to Google Voice, allowing customers to create a new account using their current mobile number right from the home screen.
