The Samsung Galaxy S Android tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available in time for the holidays from Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. These U.S. carriers will offer data access to the Samsung Galaxy Tab but will not offer voice calling.

by the Android 2.2 platform, the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 7-inch
enhanced TFT touchscreen, 1Ghz Hummingbird processor,
support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1, Media Hub (for TV and movie viewing) and Samsung Social Hub.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 3.0 megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3 front-facing camera for video calling. The battery can handle up to seven hours of video play.
Samsung will release a Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab at some point in the future.
Verizon Wireless will introduce the Samsung Galaxy Tab with a number of
exclusive applications, such as V CAST Music with Rhapsody, V CAST Video
on Demand, V CAST Song ID, VZ Navigator, along with games "Let's Golf"
and "N.O.V.A."
In the AT&T version, Samsung Galaxy Tab will also feature AT&T
Connection Manager, which automatically connects users to AT&T Wi-Fi
hot spots to better manage data usage. AT&T customers will also
have access to the entire AT&T national Wi-Fi network.
None of the U.S. carriers has yet announced a price for the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The Galaxy Tab will include future access to Media Hub, Samsung's own content service, offering a vast lineup of films and TV programs for rent or purchase. Samsung is working with the biggest and best names in entertainment, including MTV Networks, NBC, Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Paramount to assemble a full library of movies and TV programming, including new release films, next-day TV episodes and even full TV show seasons.
Media Hub also allows users to expand the entertainment experience, allowing purchased content to be permanently owned and shared with up to five devices that carry the Media Hub application.
Accessories available include a keyboard dock, desktop dock, and car/GPS dock.

screens, various social hub features and will include Samsung Media
Hub.
