MetroPCS announced that the Samsung Craft is available in Las Vegas to use the faster data network LTE.
The Samsung Craft (SCH-r900) has a 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen and sliding QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Samsung Craft is available from MetroPCS for $299, after a $50 instant rebate, plus tax.
The Craft's built-in 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and camcorder with auto-focus, features single, multi, panorama, mosaic and frame shot to capture photos instantly while on the go.
The Craft includes a 2GB microSD card, preloaded with the Paramount Pictures' hit movie "Star Trek," The Samsung Craft has a music player, Wi-Fi connectivity, stereo Bluetooth capabilities and microSD memory storage up to 32GB.
Samsung Mobile calls it the world's first 4G LTE-enabled, multi-mode, CDMA handset. They claim that the Craft combines 4G speed and a multimedia device packed with full web, entertainment and productivity features. LTE data speeds are faster than typical 3G speeds.
The MetroPCS website shows that Samsung Crafter users can buy video on demand for the Craft, including television shows. MetroPCS also offers MetroSTUDIO for music downloads and apps, such as Loopt, social media and navigation.
Along with the Craft, Samsung Mobile supplied LTE infrastructure for MetroPCS' Las Vegas LTE network. LTE makes services possible, including real-time streaming video, music downloads, 4G enhanced web browsing capabilities and access downloadable applications.
