Android Reigns in Revs, Droid by Motorola #2, Says Millenial Media

According to Millennial Media's September 2010 Mobile Mix Report Findings, Android revenue exceeded iPhone-only revenue for the first time on the Millennial network.

Android ad-requests increased 26% month-over-month and are up 1283% since January.  iPad revenue growth increased 316% in Q3; impression growth increased 156% in the same period.

The top smartphones were the Apple iPhone, Motorola Droid, BlackBerry Curve, Samsung Freeform, HTC MyTouch Magic, BlackBerry Bold 2, and Samsung Messager.

RIM devices represented 5 of the Top 20 Mobile Phones, while the BlackBerry Curve maintained its number three position for the second consecutive month.

Apple, the leading device manufacturer in the network for the last year, accounted for a 30% share of impressions on Millennial's network in September.

Motorola jumped ahead of Samsung to become the second largest device manufacturer on the Millennial Network.

The top 4 connected devices were the iPod Touch, iPad, Sony PSP, and the Sony PS3.
