T-Mobile has announced their pricing for the most affordable Android 2.2 Froyo smartphone, the Lg Optimus T. The LG Optimus T will sell for only $29.99 starting November 3, with a contract after a $50 rebate.
The LG Optimpus T is called a handset for "first-time" smarpthone users and comes loaded with Android 2.2. The LG Optimpus T will come in burgundy or titanium colors, including an added LG User-Interface with seven home screens.
The Optimus T has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 600Mhz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a virtual QWERTY keyboard with Swype and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It will ship with a 2GB microSD card that can be expanded up to 32GB.The LG Optimus T features "Voice Actions for Android," which lets users control the phone just by voicing commands. Users can send texts, listen to music, call contacts, search Google, get directions, and by voicing commands.
T-Mobile currently offers a wide array of Android smartphones.
