There's yet another Android phone announced at CTIA. This one is from LG and is called a handset for "first-time" smarpthone users - the Android 2.2 LG Optimus T. It will come in burgundy or titanium colors with an added LG User-Interface with seven home screens,
The Optimus T has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a 600Mhz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a virtual QWERTY keyboard with Swype and a 3.2-megapixel camera. It will ship with a 2GB microSD card that can be expanded up to 32GB.
The LG Optimus T runs Android 2.2 (Froyo). It features "Voice Actions for Android," which lets users control the phone just by saying commands. Users can send texts, listen to music, call contacts, search Google, get directions, and by saying commands.
The LG Optimus T will be available from T-Mobile during the holiday buying season.
