One of the two flip-style Android 2.1 smartphones announced today by AT&T, the Motorola Flipside, is called a workhorse smartphone with the new enhanced Motoblur, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 3.1" high-res HVGA touchscreen, web browsing with Adobe Flash Lite 3, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a GPS, 3-megapixel camera, 256MB RAM x 512MB ROM, and 2GB microSD card (Supports 32 GB).
The Motorola Flipside has virtual and slide-out keyboard that offer multiple messaging options. CrystalTalk PLUS technology amplifies your voice while filtering background noise, so friends and colleagues can hear you no matter where you are.
Users can stay connected to work with full push corporate email, support for Microsoft Exchange, unified inbox and enhanced features for IT compliance, such as remote wipe and password enforcement.
It features Wi-Fi connectivity, and qualifying AT&T customers receive access to the entire AT&T national Wi-Fi network, which is included as part of their data plan. AT&T's has the nation's largest Wi-Fi network with more than 23,000 U.S. hotspots.
Motorola Flipside will be available for $99.99 with a two-year service agreement and two-year smartphone data plan in AT&T stores, online and in business channels by this holiday period. (No rebate required.)
