Verizon announced that the Pantech Crux will be available tomorrow online and in Verizon stores. The Pantech Crux has a 3" touchscreen, GPS, external-key-controlled music player pre-installed, and 1GB microSD card (expandable to 32GB). They call it an affordable option.
Features of the Pantech Crux include mobile IM, email, web browsing, social networking, virtual QWERTY keyboard, and the home key that gives quick access to main home screen with the aiblity to switch between currently open applications.
The Pantech Crux will be $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, with a new two-year customer agreement. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card; upon receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted.
