T-Mobile is launching new prepaid data options starting October 18. Computer users can get a new T-Mobile Jet Prepaid USB modem and buy prepaid plans in three styles. The data plans are geared for people who don't use mobile broadband frequently but still have need for it sometimes.
- $10 week pass (100MB).
- $30 month pass (300MB).
- $50 month pass (1GB).
The laptop dongle comes packaged in a prepaid kit, with an SIM card included. Prices have not been released for the USB laptop stick. They have not disclosed whether the data will be 3G or over the faster HSPA+ network.
T-Mobile will also be offering a variety of prepaid services for phones:
•$70/month Unlimited Talk and Text with 2GB of Data.
•$50/month Unlimited Talk and Text with 100MB of Data.
•$30/month 1,500 Talk and Text (mix and match voice and text messages) with 30MB of Data.
•Pay as you go, with unlimited Text and $0.10/minute.
•$1.49/day web DayPass.
