T-Mobile is breaking the $100 barrier for smartphones, the T-Mobile Comet will have an entry-level features with the power of Android 2.2. It will cost $9.99 with a two-year contract after a $50 rebate and $149.99 without a contract on November 3.
The T-Mobile Comet has a 528MHz processor, 2.8-inch touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera and runs the super-fast Android 2.2 Froyo. The T-Mobile Comet uses T-Mobile's 3G network and has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.

2.2 supports voice dialing, voice navigation, and runs apps from the microSD card.
The T-Mobile Comet is a re-branded Huawei IDEOS.The IDEOS' built-in Wi-Fi router allows for up to
eight devices connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot at a time.
The T-Mobile Comet will be available from T-Mobile starting with
November 3 but it will also hit Best Buy, Radio Shack and Target
locations as a pre-paid smartphone.
T-Mobile also announced new cheaper tiered data plans including a $10 200 megabyte web plan and $30 unlimited web plan.
