Simplexity reported record-breaking cell phone sales on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. On average, a phone was sold every five seconds, shattering the previous record set last year by two seconds. Android-powered smartphones, such as the DROID INCREDIBLE by HTC, the HTC EVO 4G and Samsung Captivate were on everyone's gift lists this year.
Many of the top smartphones were on sale through Simplexity outlets, such as Wirefly, which provides online storefronts for major wireless news websites. Wirefly free activation for AT&T and T-Mobile is still available until midnight PST tonight. Prices were cut for new customers and renewing customers, with some of the deals still active.
Wirefly still has the free DROID Incredible as well as the free Samsung Captivate bundle with free activation, free shipping, a $60 bill credit, and free 4GB memory card. The T-Mobile myTouch 4G, for a limited time only, is $48.88 for new customers with a contract. You can click on the links below to see the highly discounted prices.

Cyber Monday, the Monday following Thanksgiving and the ceremonial kick-off of the holiday online shopping season, also saw huge growth for Simplexity with orders up 51 percent over last year.
The dramatic increase in sales was not limited to those two banner shopping days. In fact, sales were up for the entire month of November; and on Thanksgiving Day alone, sales had increased 47 percent over the previous year's figures for the same day.
Actually, I am surprised not to see iPhone on the list. I must say that HTC did a good job marketing their Droid Incredible.
