Verizon Wireless and Samsung announced that the Samsung Zeal, a dual-hinge messaging phone with an E Ink technology that transforms the QWERTY keypad, will be available online and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on Nov. 11.

The Samsung Zeal looks like the Samsung Alias.  The dual-hinge form with E Ink keyboard changes based on the user's need.  When the Samsung Zeal is open vertically,  it has a traditional numeric keypad and can change to an alpha-only keypad.  When open in landscape, the phone features a QWERTY keypad that can change to numeric with symbols.

The Samsung Zeal has corporate email support for Microsoft Office Exchange, so customers can
synchronize corporate email, contacts and calendars from their office
email.  Features include a 2.0 megapixel camera (night and panorama shot, auto focus & camcorder), Bluetooth support for headset, hands-free, stereo and phonebook
access.
