Microsoft has revamped Bing for Android and iPhone with new features.
Android Bing App Features Updated
The Android Bing app now suggests "places nearby" your immediate location via GPS. It also allows you to bookmark images, and it has a search widget to search third-party apps. To make planning a night out easier, it shares search results with friends
using any loaded app that can accept and share content by using the
"share" command. And with the integration of OpenTable and GrubHub into
the Bing for Mobile search results, you can make reservations or order
takeout - without switching between apps.
iPhone App Features Updated
The iPhone app now has a streamlined homepage, and autosuggest has been
improved to change with the tap of a finger. You can make reservations with OpenTable
and takeout with GrubHub. Voice Search is faster, and Bing Vision lets you
search using your iPhone Camera. They added Streetside to mapping and
auto check-ins to Foursquare and Windows Live Messenger status.
Bing Streetside, a new mobile mapping feature, provides a multi-street level panorama of a
location, so you can take a virtual walk through the streets with a view of the location and landmarks. As you slide the street-level imagery
sideways, the view of the sidewalk is seamlessly constructed with
an overlay of business listings, street names and store fronts.
