magicTalk Free VoIP Phone Service to Launch 12/25

magictalk.jpgVocalTec Communications, which sold over seven
million magicJacks, will introduce a free web version of its popular
VoIP telephone service on December 25 to users worldwide.

MagicTalk enables everybody (including companies), anywhere in the
world, to place free call numbers to the U.S., Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin
Islands, as well as to all other magicTalk and magicJack numbers in the
world.  MagicTalk can be used anywhere in the world and is very easily installed within 60 seconds.  They claim it offers the best voice quality.  They also offer a preferred service and magicJack service.
They also claim to be better than Skype or Google Voice because they offer "Live Customer Care 24/7" and free phone numbers.

MagicTalk may include a free phone number, voice mail, directory
assistance, call waiting, caller ID and customer care.  Instead of
plugging in a traditional phone, magicTalk users communicate over their
computer mic and speakers or by using wired headphones or wireless
headsets - an increasingly common practice with smartphones, iPhones and
computers for talking, gaming and enjoying music and other media.

A
Free magicTalk number is not a traditional phone number.  It always
begins with a star (*) and ALWAYS ends with star (*).  The number does
not provide any form of 911 service.  International and local calls are free with all magicTalk/magicJack users.
