MEA Winners Best of the Best in Mobile Media: Opera, ChaCha, Tap11 & Angry Birds

Earlier this week, the winners of the Mobile Excellence Awards were presented in a gala that took place at the Paramount Studios in Los Angeles, California.

The Mobile Excellence Awards Master of Ceremony and host was entertainment industry veteran Brain Seth Hurst, CEO, Opportunity Management Company. Emmy-winning producer, Tim Kring, the creator of "Heroes" and Conspiracy for Good, and Johann Jungwirth, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc, delivered special keynote speeches during the awards ceremony. Ethan Bortnick, nine-year-old Grammy winning solo pianist, opened and closed the show with his special musical performance.

The Mobile Excellence Awards celebrates the best of the best in mobile media, technology, marketing and entertainment.

Best Mobile Music - Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. for Smart Drive App for iPhone.

Best Mobile Campaign for Consumer Brand - Best Buy for Best Buy Holiday.

Best Mobile Marketing Campaign - NBC Universal for Sprint & NBC Heroes, "Slow Burn."

Best Community Fan Content - Bravo for Bravo Mobile Communities.

Best Content Extension Made for Mobile - Initiative for Lionsgate, Expendables Foursquare.

Best Original Content Made For Mobile - AEG Network LIVE for "We Are the World 25 for Haiti."
