How well does your carrier support you and your phone? We know you are supporting your carrier with monthly fees, but can they answer your questions?
Laptop tested the carriers' customer support three ways - in store, telephone, and web. Using real customer accounts, they tested service on an iPhone (AT&T), BlackBerry Tour (Sprint), Motorola Cliq (T-Mobile), and Motorola Droid (Verizon). The tester asked pointed, technical questions in two different situations in each venue of support.
Laptop found that AT&T service people meant well in most cases but didn't provide accurate and helpful answers, scoring C+ in store, C+ on web, and B- on the phone, with an overall grade of C+.
Laptop's service experience at Sprint felt incomplete, but Sprint's associates generally provided useful answers in a timely fashion. Grades were B+ in store, C+ on web and A- on the phone, with an overall grade of B.
We at Wireless and Mobile News are not sure that visiting 2 stores,
calling 2 times, and going on the web twice is a fair test of carriers with
millions of customers. They asked about tethering, which is not
supported on all phone models and is a confusing option. What has your
experience been? How do you rate your carrier? Please post your opinion

J.D. Power rates T-Mobile at the top followed by AT&T. Owners of iPhones are the most satisfied followed by Motorola, HTC and others.
