AT&T announced its new 4G plans and Android smartphones today at CES. The HTC Inspire appears to very similar to the HTC EVO 4G because it has a 4.3-inch touchscreen and HTC Sense user interface added onto Android.
HTC Inspire Specs
The HTC Inspire has a 1GHz Snapdragon processor. The HTC Inspire has an 8-megapixel camera, 4GB of internal storage, and runs Android 2.2, which will be updated to the Android 2.3 shortly after launch.
The HTC Inspire will support HSPA+ 4G and mobile hotspots. Other features include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3.5 mm stereo audio jack, G-sensor, digital compass, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor.
The HTC Inspire camera is equipped with autofocus, dual LED flash, and HD video recording.
The HTC Hi-Fi Experience enriches multimedia with dual mics for
noise cancellation, Dolby, and SRS WOW HD surround-sound effects.
HTCSense.com allows HTC Inspire users to:
- Forward calls/messages to another phone when you accidentally leave your phone elsewhere.
- Log in to HTCsense.com to remote wipe, lock your phone or to post a message.
- If your phone is stolen and your GPS is activated, track its location.
- Manage all of your contacts and text messages from HTCsense.com.
- With one click, instruct your phone to ring loud even if its volume is set to low.
Bloggers expect the launch price to be around $199 with a contract.
