The software update is called LG VS740ZVD, and it offers greater security and better Bluetooth calling. Froyo features include Adobe Flash, app storage on microSD card, and faster browsing. A full list of features appears later in this article.
The software update size is 52.3 MB, which will take approximately 10-15 minutes to download and approximately 5 minutes to update.
You will be notified that a system update is available on your LG Ally. Press "Install now" and your device will power off and back on, and the installation process will begin.
If you are roaming, you will not receive a system update notice. You will need to enable Wi-Fi and wait for the update notice to appear, and you can manually update by going to "Home" > "Menu" > "Settings" > "About phone" > "System updates."
