T-Mobile USA and Motorola announced the Motorola CLIQ 2 with MOTOBLUR,
a 3.7-inch touchscreen smartphone with a slide-out keyboard and added business features. The CLIQ 2 has a 1GHz
processor, Bluetooth, 5MP camera (dual LED flash), FM radio, GPS and DLNA for media streaming.
Motorola CLIQ 2 is a 3G smartphone that benefits from faster speeds, at no additional
cost, on the T-Mobile 4G network, and it has 3G mobile hotpsot and Wi-Fi Sharing. Powered by Android 2.2, the browser shows Adobe Flash on webpages. BLOCKBUSTER
ONDEMAND and Amazon
Kindle app are preloaded.
Motorola CLIQ 2 also offers the Print
to Retail feature, which allows copies to be made at a local photo
retailer. Wi-Fi calling allows users to make calls over a Wi-Fi connection.
For busy professionals, Motorola CLIQ 2 offers
calendar capabilities, corporate
directory, and Quickoffice to view and edit important documents on
their phones. Advanced security features include remote locate and SD
card
wipe. Additional security features, such as device and SD card encryption,
are expected to be available in early 2011.
Motorola CLIQ 2 comes
with MOTOBLUR to help manage email
and social networking services from the home screen. Customizable
filters can control the types of messages and updates displayed in
home-screen widgets.
Offered in a titanium hue with a smoke gray finish, Motorola CLIQ 2 with
MOTOBLUR will be available exclusively to T-Mobile USA customers on
Jan. 19.
