  • Deal-o-rama - Verizon Wireless has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Tab to $299 from $499 (read review).
  • FTC to Stop Text Spammer - The Federal Trade Commission asked a federal judge to shut down an
    operation that allegedly blasted consumers with millions of illegal
    spam text messages, including many messages that deceptively advertised a
    mortgage modification website called Loanmod-gov.net.
  • The Motorola Xoom goes on sale today at Verizon Wireless.
  • Mozilla updated the beta version of Firefox for Android, available at Android Market.  Improvements include faster page loading, better JavaScript performance, and more responsive panning and zooming.  It is is a more stable version.
  • CTIA-The Wireless Association today announced the International CTIA WIRELESS 2012 show will take place May 8 - 10 in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.
