TS2R Wireless News for today, February 24, 2011.

  • Android App Update: Maxthon Mobile Browser for Android now has a new feature called with  Multi-mode, giving users the choice to view a website in Android-view mode.  Maxthon shows you the faster-loading, mobile-optimized website when it exists.
  • Death Grip 4 iPhone 4 from VerizonConsumer Reports confirmed that there is attenuation on the iPhone 4 from Verizon that can cause the phone to drop calls, or be unable to place calls, in weak signal conditions.  Voice quality was better in some cases than the AT&T iPhone.  With the Verizon version, calls placed to other phones sounded better
than they did from the AT&T phone.  For calls received, however, the
AT&T phone had an edge in quality (read Verizon iPhone 4 4 review).
  • More Windows Phone 7 Games - Along with Angry Birds, Windows
Phone 7 users will be able to play Doodle Jump, Plants vs Zombies,
Hydro Thunder Go, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I, and geoDefense.  The six
games will start arriving in the spring and are
all Xbox LIVE friendly, featuring achievements and leaderboards.

  • Take Me App to the Ballgame - MLB.com At Bat, a suite of mobile
applications developed by MLB Advanced Media, is back for the 2011
season.  It includes coverage of Grapefruit and Cactus League action with access to live
Spring Training games, including every available radio feed and in-progress statistical data.
