HTC News: HTC Inspire Gets Inspired with HSUPA Approval by FCC

HTCinspire2.jpgThe HTC Inspire was losing its inspiration because it didn't support HSUPA 4G data.  That will soon change because AT&T has gotten approval by the FCC to turn on HSUPA data in HTC Inspire smartphones

The action has inspired users who would like the faster data speeds, which could be coming soon.  HTC and AT&T have not given any official word on when the HSUPA pipeline will be turned on for the HTC Inspire.

The other 4G smartphone from AT&T, the Motorola Atrix 4G, is also still in slow mode because the HSUPA is not functioning.  The well-reviewed Motorola Atrix won the CTIA E-Tech Award for best smartphone but has voice muffling issues.

In many ways, the HTC Inspire is most like the HTC ThunderBolt, which has much faster speeds from Verizon's 4G LTE network.

Reviewers all agreed that the price of $99 for the HTC Inspire with a contract is a great
value for super high-end features that rival the iPhone in some
aspects.  Reviewers liked the good voice quality and photo quality.
Reviewers admired some aspects of the new HTC Sense, while it was
considered bloatware by some.

Amazon Wireless is selling the HTC Inspire for $59.99 for new customers and $69.99 for renewing customers with a contract.
