The fact that Wirefly was the first to leak that the HTC ThunderBolt will be shipping on March 17, confirming its release date has made record presales for Wirefly.
Wirefly began taking preorders for the Verizon Wireless HTC ThunderBolt at 3 a.m. EST on March 15, and by the end of the day, sales were 400-percent higher than any presale device.
Andy Zeinfeld, CEO at Simplexity, Wirefly's parent company, said, "...we knew there was a pent-up demand for the ThunderBolt by HTC, however, our sales volume far surpassed our expectations."
