iPhone, iPad Bests Android an' BlackBerry in Mobile Browsing, Says Chitika

MobileBrwosingChitika.JPGWhile comScore named Android the top smartphone OS, and Nielsen called a tie in the best smartphone race, Chitika says that the iPhone has 38% of mobile browsing market share.

Chitika shows Android at 29%, BlackBerry at 9% and iPad at a staggering 22%.

Statistical naysayers will note that iPhone and iPad users are addicted to web browsing, while Android and BlackBerry owners may browse the web less.
Chitika warns that its network doesn't take into account apps and that it is
purely based on a large collection of websites.  It claims that
the data set is consistent but assumes that web browser usage is the
same among the mobile devices.  In other words, all Android devices and
iPhones are running Mobile Safari or Chrome Mobile 50% of the time.
