Android fanatics who want the latest iPad competitor could be able to buy a Wi-Fi-only version of the Motorola Xoom tablet at Sam's Club for less than the price of a similar featured iPad 2.
It seems that employees of mass market retailers who sign non-disclosure agreements can't keep their mouths or cameras shut. A Sam's Club insider leaked information and pricing for the Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi launch at Sam's Club.
Previously, Motorola CEO Sanjay Jah said that the Wi-Fi Xoom would be priced at $599. The Sam's Club display shows a price of $539. Video chat is shown as a feature, and Sam's Cub buyers will get a free protective gel case. Ads for the Wi-Fi Motorola Xoom in the U.K. show a price of 449 Euros, which equates to a price of $730 U.S and is not competitive with the new Wi-Fi iPad pricing. The Wi-Fi Motorola Xoom will be launched in Europe in April.
The Wi-Fi Xoom has the same dual-core processor and 32GB of storage, which makes it cheaper than the Wi-Fi-only iPad2 that
will sell for $599 for 32 GB, but it is more expensive than the Wi-Fi iPad2

Reviewers liked the speed and power of the Motorola Xoom tablet with Verizon Wireless data access that will be upgraded to 4G LTE in the future.but thought it was a bit pricey. IHS iSuppli set the cost of materials for the Motorola Xoom at $359.92.
