Usually TS2R means "Too Short to Report," but here it means "Too Soon To Report."
AT&T announced it will buy T-Mobile, marrying the number two and number four carriers to make the largest mobile service provider in the United Sates. Both carriers use GSM technology at different frequencies but use HSPA+ for 4G data.
It's too soon to tell how the merger will affect consumers.
The combined HSPA+ networks of AT&T and T-Mobile will give them a
larger area of coverage than Verizon's current 4G LTE network.
However,
T-Mobile has been pricing its plans more cheaply than AT&T for a while,
and we hope that all of our readers who are T-Mobile customers will continue
to get their huge family discounts.
The announcement claims that the
deal will bring LTE to more people as it will cut down the number of
choices of wireless service providers.
