Verizon 4G LTE News: New Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot & Verizon SB551L USB Modem

Verizon4GLTEModem.JPGThere are more ways to connect to the Verizon Wireless LTE network this week since the Verizon SCH-LC11 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot is now available, and the the Novatel 4G LTE Verizon SB551L USB high-speed modem has a March 31 release date.  Currently, the only smartphone on the Verizon 4G LTE network is the HTC ThunderBolt, which offers mobile hotspots and comes with unlimited data.

Both the modem and hotspot offer download speeds of 5 to 12 Mbps and upload speeds of 2 to 5 Mbps in 4G LTE Mobile Broadband coverage.  When users are not in Verizon's 4G LTE coverage area, they will stay connected on the Verizon Wireless 3G network.

The Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot allows users to share a 4G LTE internet connection with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices at the same time.Features of the SB551L include an advanced antenna and support of Windows XP/Vista/7 as well as Mac 10.4 or higher.
