It seems that every smartphone owner has to wait a long time for updates. Samsung Galaxy S owners waited for months, and Windows Phone owners were given a waiting schedule. It has now been confirmed that updates to the Dell Venue Pro and HTC HD 7 from T-Mobile are now available.
T-Mobile customers have reported getting the February update and NoDo Copy/paste March update. According to the "Where's my phone update?" the Dell Venue Pro and HTC HD7 are in scheduling while users are able to download the update.The February update gets the Windows Phones ready for the full March update with lots of features including, copy/paste and improvements to apps/games, Marketplace search, Outlook, messaging, camera, and audio. The update adds Facebook integration.
To check to see if an update is available:
- On Start, flick left to the App list, and then tap Settings > Phone update.
- To make sure that you're notified in the future, select "Notify me when new updates are found" check box.
If the Microsoft Phone update schedule is correct, only HTC Arrive customers won't need the update.
