There has been much excitement about the soon-to-be released 4G LTE Samsung Droid Charge, the first challenger to the well-reviewed HTC ThunderBolt, with the major difference of a Super AMOLED touchscreen. Both super Android 2.2 smartphones run on the Verizon Wireless 5G-rated 4G LTE network.
There is already news of the best deals for ordering the Samsung Droid Charge. The cheapest deal is that you can win a free one if you follow the clues on Twitter, find one in your area via the tracking app, or enter the contest.
Amazon Wireless has reduced the price of the HTC ThunderBolt to $129.99 for new customers and $174.99 for renewing customers with a contract. We found that the Droid Charge was showing as listed on Amazon Wireless, with the Samsung Droid Charge already backordered with an 8-10 day delay.
Meanwhile, Wirefly is showing a price for preordering the Droid Charge
for new customers and renewing customers equal to the price of the HTC
ThunderBolt if you buy it directly from Verizon Wireless. Wirefly has also lowered the price substantially for the Droid X and many Verizon Android and Droid smartphones are free.

has a 1GHz processor, Android 2.2
Froyo 4G LTE, 4.3" super AMOLED touchscreen, an 8MP
rear-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and HDMI port. It also comes
with the ability to connect to up to 10 mobile hotspots. Other
features include a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB of internal storage
and 32GB on a microSD card.
