Droid Incredible 2 News: HTC Droid Incredible 2 April 28 Release Date Front Camera

DroidIncredible2Releasedate.JPGIt appears that Verizon Wireless will launch the Droid Incredible 2 by HTC on the one-year anniversary of the original Droid Incredible, on April 28. 

A leaked document shows a release date of April 28 along with more details and specs. We learned from the HTC ThunderBolt many release dates changes that we can't be sure of the release date until the Tuesday of the week, which is when Verizon usually officially announces releases.

The Droid Incredible 2 will have mobile hotspots for up to 10 connections, DLNA connectivity, a preinstalled 16GB microSD card, and new
HTC Sync and Connect, with multiple email and address books in one
place.  It is a global phone. The Droid Incredible 2 carries a $350 early-termination fee.
Specs of the Droid Incredible 2 include a 4-inch WVGA (800
x480) touchscreen (previous Incredible had a 3.7"), 8MP camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, 1GHz Qualcomm
processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, STR WOW HD surround sound, and a 1450mAh battery.

It will not have the super speedy 5G-rated 4G LTE access like the HTC ThunderBoltSamsung Droid Charge and LG Revolution.

Another Droid in the line of Droid smartphones expected in May is the Droid X2.

Last week, we learned that the Droid Incredible 2 will supposedly be priced at $199.99.
