After months of speculation and an official announcement last week, the 4G LTE Samsung Droid Charge release has been delayed. Meanwhile, the promotional hunt for the Samsung Droid Charge is live.
The Samsung Droid Charge is unavailable in Verizon Wireless stores and online. If you want to buy a Droid Charge, you can go to a Verizon store to give your contact information, and you will be contacted when it is available. Many believe that the delay is due to yesterday's Verizon 4G LTE network outage. The Verizon Wireless website shows ads for the new White iPhone 4G, and it is connected to a page that lets you sign up for Droid Charge notices of availability.
The early reviews of the Samsung Droid Charge are positive, showing tests with fast data speeds, and almost every review praises the Super AMOLED screen. We called our local rep, and he confirmed that it is definitely worth the wait. The store was busy today with customers asking for the White iPhone. The Samsung Droid Charge is essentially a Samsung Galaxy S phone with Droid branding.
Online retailers Wirefly and LetsTalk are taking preorders for the Samsung Droid Charge and are charging less for it. Amazon Wireless shows that it is out of stock.
