Some think that there will be a release date announcement at an HP Veer May 2 event in Anaheim, CA, according to a now-closed event with the saying, "Come see why small is very big." Those who register for the event and attend must show an ID card or AT&T/Best Buy business card.
A tweet proclaimed a launch event for the HP Veer on May 2nd in Germany.
