We have great news for current HTC ThunderBolt owners and new buyers of the Samsung Droid Charge. You'll get free 4G LTE Verizon Wireless mobile hotspots with both super smartphones for a limited time.
When the well-reviewed HTC ThunderBolt was launched in March, buyers were given the bonus of included free mobile hotspots until May 15, 2011. When we called Verizon spokeswoman Brenda Raney, we were told that the free mobile hotspot service for the HTC ThunderBolt has been extended.
At the very bottom of the news release for the Samsung Droid Charge is this sentence, "Mobile hotspot feature will be included for a limited time at no additional charge."
The Samsung Droid Charge lets you connect to up to 10 mobile hotspots, which could be a lot of super fast Verizon Wireless 5G-rated 4G LTE network data.
The Samsung Droid Charge also comes with a $25 Samsung Media hub credit for viewing movies.
The Samsung Droid Charge is the toughest competitor to the well-reviewed HTC ThunderBolt that now holds the top smartphone position at Verizon Wireless. We compared the Samsung Droid 4G Charge to the HTC ThunderBolt and discovered that the features it has over the HTC ThunderBolt are the Super AMOLED touchscreen, HDMI port, and 1500mAH battery.
