Motorola Xoom & Motorola Atrix: Pleased & Satisfied - Verizon & AT&T

motorola Xoom & Atrix.jpgAnalysts and bloggers have been either supporting or dissing Motorola Xoom and Motorola Atrix sales.  Carriers are not worried.

Analysts from Deutsche Bank estimated that Motorola sold 100,000 Xoom tablets in the first two months, which could equate to $70 Million in hardware sales.

Pacific Crest's James Faucette reported that the overall sell-through trends for the Xoom and Atrix were disappointing.Verizon Wireless is pleased and sent an email statement to ComputerWorld, "We are pleased with customer response to the Xoom."

AT&T commented to Matt Hamblen, "Our customers are very satisfied with the Atrix, and we are equally as pleased with the results to date."

Yes, the iPad 2 has garnered much more buzz but is in short supply and is hard to find.  However, some users prefer Android because they can view Adobe Flash in the browser and have an open platform.

The Motorola Atrix - with all its different docks - gives users the ability to carry a small phone and then connect it to a dock to turn it into a laptop.  The docks make it a one-device option.  The iPad 2 is a tablet only.
