T-Mobile announced via its Twitter feed that the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G will arrive on April 20 and cost $100 after a $50 rebate.
The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G comes with an OS overhaul to Android 2.2 and some Samsung Galaxy S features. The Samsung T-Mobile Sidekick 4G has the added kicks of a 3.5-inch touchscreen, social media features and Samsung Media Hub.The Sidekick 4G runs a 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor and has a VGA front-facing camera that will power your T-Mobile Video Chat conversations by Qik. It will come in matte black and pearl magenta.
To prevent Sidekicking while driving, it will come preloaded with DriveSmart that can be programmed to send automated messages to incoming callers and to text messages to let contacts know that the user is driving and can't respond.
Other smartphones that use the T-Mobile 4G network include the Samsung Galaxy S 4G, T-Mobile myTouch 4G and the T-Mobile G2. Many of these super fast smartphones appear in our Top Ten Best Android an' Droid Phones Now an' Later.
