Sprint prepaid division of Virgin Mobile starts selling, today, the Samsung Restore, with a casing that includes post-consumer recycled plastic, and 83 percent of the phone is recyclable.
The Samsung Restore is a message phone offering a slide-out
full QWERTY, a 4-row keyboard, a 2.0MP camera and camcorder, and a media
player with a microSD card slot.
Features include social networking, Google Maps, Bluetooth and access to email, including AOL, Gmail, Yahoo! and MSN/Windows Live Hotmail. It has a 2.4-inch LCD screen with portrait and landscape orientations.
The Samsung Restore costs $79.99 (taxes and surcharges excluded).
The Samsung Restore meets strict RoHS standards and only has low levels of environmentally sensitive materials (PVC, BFRs, Phthalates, and Beryllium).
