After over two weeks of waiting, you can finally buy the Samsung Droid Charge starting tomorrow, May 14, at midnight EST, or at 9:00 pm PST tonight for west coast customers, at Verizon Wireless online.
Update 05/14/11 - - We checked and the Verizon webpage for the Droid Charge is live. It's also showing a deal for free activation. The smartphone will support up to 10 Wi-Fi mobile hotspot connections on 4G LTE and up to 5 connections via the 3G network. Mobile hotspot service is free for a limited time.
Hey, our source was correct! The Verizon affiliate email said to watch for a mid-May launch date and, May 14 is mid-May.
The Samsung Droid Charge has received rave early reviews, and it offers great data speed from the 5G-rated 4G LTE Verizon network.
The Samsung Droid Charge has a 1GHz processor, Android 2.2 Froyo, 4G LTE, 4.3" super AMOLED touchscreen, an 8MP rear-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and HDMI port. It also comes with the ability to connect to up to 10 mobile hotspots. Other features include a 1.3MP front-facing camera, 2GB of internal storage and 32GB on a microSD card.
Verizon extended its free mobile hotspots offer for the Droid Charge.

Online retailers that discount the price of the well-reviewed Samsung Droid Charge, Wirefly and LetsTalk, are taking preorders for the Samsung Droid Charge and are charging less for it. Amazon Wireless shows it backordered.
