The Droid X2 reportedly will be released soon, with rumors suggesting a May 26 release date. Accessories were showed on the Verizon website, while Motorola support had the user manual and support pages posted for a short time confirming Droid X2 specs.
After bloggers pointed out the Motorola support slip, the pages were removed.
The Droid X2 has a qHD (540 x 960)
touchscreen, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, an 8-megapixel camera, front-facing camera, FM radio and
HDMI port. Add to that 2GB of secure storage with 6GB non-removable
shared storage, 8GB microSD card preinstalled, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The Droid X2 is expected to cost $199.99.
The Droid X2 plays 1080p HD video with HDMI dual-screen (mirror-mode) and HDMI status. The Droid X2 will be the only dual-core processor smartphone on Verizon Wireless running Android Gingerbread 2.3.
